What is UmmaHacks?
UmmaHacks at its core is an initiative that focuses on providing an opportunity for individuals to learn and develop their technological and professional skills within the Muslim community. This Summer, UmmaHacks, along with MCA YOUTH, is hosting a virtual student-run hackathon designed to inspire student developers across globe in creating software solutions to benefit the Muslim Ummah. We aim to unlock and harness the potential of future programmers, hackers, and designers, regardless of background, to create a meaningful impact in communities both locally and abroad.

"hacking"??
No, we don’t hack into servers! In an event context, “hacking” refers to building something using technology to solve problems.

Don’t know how to code?
No problem, UmmaHacks welcomes anybody to come learn and build with us! We provide beginner workshops and mentors to help you build something you can be excited about. No prior experience necessary!
